Calling DeepDAO's governance nerds and NFT artists

We love DAOs, proposals, token holders, member coalitions, voting patterns. We are keen to know who are the top DAOs, the top people in governance, who are the active and inactive people and organizations, who are the rising DAO stars and the falling angels, the healthy and the epic.

Inspired generative artists, how would you transform DAO data into breathtaking art?

Imagine the PEOPLE behind the numbers:

  • The Experienced Governor
  • A Shining, Rising Star
  • Populist Proposer (someone who always gets their proposals accepted by the community)
  • Spasmodic Loser (many proposals, all duds)
  • New in the hood
  • An expert

And do not settle for just these, let your governance imagination run with it.

The DAOs behind the data, what will they look like?

  • An active / Inactive DAO
  • Rich DAO / Poor DAO
  • Centralized (where all the power is in the hands of a few)
  • Decentralized (giving more people an opportunity to participate)

Artistic direction

None. We're looking for your inspiring, cool, innovative art. Once we select it we'll put our coding team to work with you on making the right NFT choices.

Judging Criteria
The winner will be selected by DAO governors from DeepDAO, and members of our community.

Working on a few options for the DeepDAO "DAO And Governance NFT Artwork" Bounty. Will add my submission to the DeepDAO Github repo upon completion.

I am creating a token that represents different categories of DAOs

I plan to make up to 10 characters, 2d illustrations/drawings, in my own style, mostly personified animals.
I create them in Procreate and I’ve been working with it for a couple of years now.

My plan is to create power badges representing the different DAO management styles seen in the community. Each badge has a different kind of "magic energy" within them, just like the people behind the numbers.

Submit work based on bounty guidelines and design requirements. Create artwork based on DAO governance and communities highlighting certain character aspects within their respective organizations.

will create audiovisual artworks to illustrate my observations on a few DAOs, that reside n discord..

especially, will have a critical look on the levels of creativity, scales of expression and whether new ideas are let grown or people are shut-up go autocontrol themselves and make others also do so.

artworks will also contain, accessibility, psychology approach ability and and a free feeling, without stress or not.

this work is not going to be judgemental, yet sometimes objective, sometimes subjective partials will be contained there in the artworks.
13) shirapugatch has started work.

I chose to draw for this ticket beautiful human personas as profile pictures. Divine men and women combined with varying attributes that tell their story.
My technique is vector illustration, graphic and symmetrical. The midline of each character can be discerned. The symmetry gives the characters a look at an elevated human.
Using a minimal color scale connects the images and produces an easy-to-recognize uniformity. The colors are RGB bright and clean with a strong contrast and fun impration.
Each face can get as many as needed versions, and can be used to describe different status and feelings for each member.
14) k0-ba has started work.

  • As a psychologist/researcher I will start with...research. Desk research mostly, and qualitative interviews with some DAOist. Also, I will try to use my personal DAO experience to formulate a visual language and understand the concepts behind the example "personas".
  • Then I will experiment with some of the generative art I know, and decide one to use. Hopefully, I can collaborate with a designer friend of mine, also find new Personas or concepts to create.
  • Then I upload all, with commentary, maybe with a presentation and the code I use to generate art.
    15) playingleela has started work.

I spent 28 hours working on this sketches, first by hand and then bringing it to digital. Doing lots of changes during the process, because I wanted them to look more realistic than cartoonish.
I had lots of fun doing it, giving them life based on the archetypes and making sure to show of how diverse the community is ((: Thank you for the opportunity!
