DIM Version

Version 8.19.1 (release), built on 13/05/2024, 4:02:42 pm, orange

Browser Details

Firefox 125.0.3, Chrome 124.0.6367.202

OS Details

Windows 10

Describe the bug

I've been using browser font settings to enforce a minimum font size for years because... look, I'm in my 40s now 😸

This hasn't caused any issues with DIM before, but as of today, text and icons are much larger than usual.

Firefox with minimum font size at 14px:

firefox_u8tCf3qbQ1

firefox_8bnodqAylW

Chrome with minimum font size at 14px:

chrome_oz1z0KaOst

chrome_SANOkqzREV

As far as I know nothing significant has changed about DIM's CSS. We do have an item on our backlog to support setting font-size (#9862) but I don't see any way that we could properly handle a minimum font size setting - most of our icons are delivered as a font and the font-size for things like the item tiles is carefully calculated to fit in the space.

I can try this out on an older build to see if the behavior actually changed.

If anything did change, it's likely a consequence of #10384 allowing autoprefixer to drop some old prefixed rules.
