External source import not working when no short description

Describe the bug
If I try to import a project without a short description, the first step doesn't finish which results in not being able to upload the project.

To Reproduce

1. Log in
2. Click on Github data source
3. Import this link https://github.com/waltersajtos/oeloes.resources
4. Validate that there is weird behavior on the completed steps (for example the collaborators are imported but not marked as imported)
5. Validate that step 1 is not completed which results in not being able to upload the project.

Expected behavior
Step 1 should be completed and the collaborators step should be marked as imported. The description step should not be marked as imported because not everything on that page is imported (description is imported, a short description is not).
