Dashboard on Landing Page

Overall visualization view of current process, e.g. how many factories be reported in each city/county on map, numbers of reported factories, government response percentage of all reported cases. There may be two versions: one for public on about.disfactory.tw and one for internal monitoring.

Dashboard will be showed on landing page

Purpose:

• For staff: transparency and impact metrics to measure success
• For active reporters: rewarded and know the progress
• For general public: know the overview advocacy impact and join the reporting movement

Design principle:

• simple and strong messages
• realtime update (max interval: 30 min)

Data:

• 回報行動：民眾已回報工廠數量總數、更新資料筆數、縣市分佈（可用台灣地圖視覺化）、熱門查詢與回報地區（town-district）排行榜 top 5（列出舉報工廠術與資料筆數）、past 30 days unique users（這個有點赤裸 XD，數字好看再放）
• 舉報進度：打算正式舉報的數量佔全部回報點位的百分比（並分為中高污染和新增建工廠）、地公處理進度 cet_report_status（分階段和時間顯示數量）、政府回應 gov_response（分類顯示）

Out of Scope

• Interactive design or motion graphic, e.g. search, filter
• more than 3 sections to display the dashboard

那天研究是發現目前 about.disfactory.tw 用的 strikingly 要自訂 html 要從 $8/month 上升到 $16/month。所以沒有付費升級的話無法嵌入 dashboard。

上週三小聚有 survey，

yellowsoar 表示：
WordPress 的 pages 功能可以做到所有 strikingly 能達成的事
可以到 wordpress.com 開一個免費的就可以試了
然後轉移的部分就看加深搬的如何
如果要 about.disfactory.tw 指向到 wordpress 的話要 premium 版 $8/mo
