Oneplus ac2003 (avicii) - no SMS notifications on different users #300
Comments
Duplicate of #141 I haven't found a solution yet. A workaround would be using a work profile instead of a secondary profile. |
Thanks for the rapid reply :D Figured it might've been outdated, my bad. Is there some way I could transfer everything in my other profile to my owner profile? App logins and that sort of stuff I all have to do again, but trying to avoid downloading huge files and lots of bits and bobs from my other profile. Any help is appreciated :) |
Copying it to a computer over MTP and back may be easiest. You can't use Seedvault to restore to an existing profile. |
Thanks a lot! |
Hi :)
I'm using the Oneplus AC2003 avicii, on the latest DOS version, specifically Android 13 (TQ3A.230901.001).
I made sure to update to the latest version of android before following the installation process for DOS, and I had no issues with that, installed fine and had been using DOS for a few weeks without issues.
I noticed that I stopped getting notifications for SMS Messages, via the default SMS app, on any user besides from the Owner user, that receives notifications just fine.
I have tried rebooting to no avail, draining the battery to zero and letting it sit for a while, and force stopping the app.
This is something that makes using DOS very annoying now, because by default I use a profile other than the owner profile, leading to missing important messages, and checking my phone every 10 minutes is not a viable solution.
If there is anything I could provide to assist in the resolving of this issue, feel free to let me know.
