Need "Live Compass calibration" (calibration dance), as in MissionPlanner.
Without "Live Compass calibration" the multirotor (quad in my case) will do the "toilet-bowling" effect, which is only removed re-calibrating live

Yes. This would be very valuable to every multirotor user, I am not sure if the terminal mode is required to do this..

I dont think we need the cli (terminal) to do it. And if its neede we can
chage tha by coordinating with arducopter devs.

nope, I see now that cli is not needed, prettyplease , add this feature.
this is how long a bug in MP have been standing, ArduPilot/MissionPlanner#208
this bug prevents me from doing such basic, and important thing..

As I know and advise for my megapirateNG port users it's better to enable auto-calibration.

Compass can got crazy in flight so your dance could be useless.
Most AndroCopter devs enable auto-calibration /could be it changed in 3.x/

Yes, about that. I've read in wiki that autocalibration on arducopter is deprecated, as electromanetic interference could build up crazy compass values. - my highest compass_mot value is 0.8
On arduplane, I find compass autotuning to be working perfectly, but then again, plane is much less dependent on compass.

This reminds me of the worst fact; that arducopter apparently does not contain any logic to detect when crazy compass leads the UAV away from desired position.

Even a simplified compass calibration tool would be great. Something which initiates the dance, then provides feedback on the offsets only. I too have a quad setup where my compass generally needs to calibrated at each new location, so the dance is quite wired thus no need for the visual point cloud feedback as in the full version.
