Plot labeling/legend

Add the ability to include some kind of legend of different data sets with the plot. Currently, a consolidated summary of color bars is created, but this is less helpful for data sets that just use points or contours and doesn't necessarily differentiate between different data sets well. The color bar plotting is also currently messy.
