[OTHER] Remove single use mode #7343
Comments
Assign this to me. I will be happy to clean up the code. I am very new to this project and working on this issue will help me to understand the project more. |
Sure, I have assigned it to you @raviraj-github 👍 |
Well, I just saw this in the last release, and I'm using the single-user mode, sorry for not reacting earlier. Was merged quite fast 😭 |
Oh no, I didn't realise anyone was using this. Why don't you use the platform version, you get all the latest features? |
Because I want to self-host it and use my own http server to track usage :) the project being open source with a permissive license allowed that, but now that the feature is gone, I'm gonna stick to the latest available "single user mode" version. I just wanted a free and open source simple personal LinkTree alternative, and LinkFree was perfect for that :) Don't enforce yourself to re-add the feature, if I'm the only person using it, that's fine, considering the amount of people using the platform version 👍 |
Mostly, ownership of my own instance is what I'm looking at, and platform cannot provide this by design 😉 |
What would you like to share?
This feature is not used and we are keen for people to connect on the hosted platform
