Describe the bug
After resuming from sleep on the rM2 the screen changes from the reMarkable sleep screen to just an empty screen.

I can SSH to the device and restart tarnish to get Oxide working again. Otherwise it's completely unresponsive via the touch screen. The power button still sleeps/unsleeps the device.

The tarnish log is filled with this message

ERROR: ld.so: object '/opt/lib/librm2fb_client.so.1.0.0' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded (inte
rnal error): ignored.

The full resume log is:

To Reproduce

  1. Start Oxide (started from boot)
  2. Use button to sleep
  3. Use button to wake

Expected behavior
Oxide should resume, instead I just see a blank screen.

Screenshots
Not much to show, let me know if this helps.

Version Information:

  • Device: reMarkable 2
  • OS: 2.5.0.27

Are you running a specific application when this happens?

@Witos or @raisjn can you replicate?

Actually I just got the same with 2.1 beta1 for me just enough steps

  1. reboot (oxide started)
  2. press power button (you will see rm sleeping message)
  3. press power button again (white screen)
  4. press again (again message about sleeping)

and no matter how many time to do that
first I got this in xochitl, but then found that's pretty simple in reproduce
only restart tarnish helps

UPD maybe it's related that I choose do not use lock screen after update at start

Ah, I searched the issues and didn't see that. Thanks for pointing that out.
