  • Your Issue Detail:
OCSP is a protocol for allowing client devices (mobile phones, computers, etc) to verify the validity of a certificate it has been presented with, to see if the certificate is still valid or has since been revoked. Blocking of this OCSP domain prevents these security checks from being performed by clients, preventing them from being able to determine if a certificate has been compromised and since revoked or not. It isn't a "tracking" host, but rather part of OCSP infrastructure in public key infrastructure (PKI). Similar hosts would be ocsp.pki.goog, ocsp2.apple.com, ocsp.comodoca.com, ocsp.digicert.com, ocsp.usertrust.com, ocsp.verisign.com, ocsp2.globalsign.com, and etc. and etc.
