Crash when trying to extract an Apotheosis gem using Vial of Arcane Extraction

Trying to extract an Apotheosis gem from a weapon using a Vial of Arcane Extraction in the Smithing table. Crash happens when clicking on the gem in the right slot (see screenshot)

After relogging, this is what I found:

So seems like extracting the gem worked, even though it crashed the game
