A nice alternative for this library is https://github.com/thejoshwolfe/yauzl which is quite hard to find (due to its name), but worth checking out, so I thought I'd share it with anyone looking for an alternative to node-unzip.

Although a good alternative does not support streams (the reasoning seems solid however).
