VBA - Onfido - Unable to send the one-time link to phone number #5577

Action Performed:

  1. Go to https://staging.new.expensify.com

  2. Log in with expensifail account

  3. Navigate to https://staging.new.expensify.com/bank-account/new

  4. Select - Connect with log in"

  5. Use "chase" bank (user- user_good, password - pass_good)

  6. Select Saving account

  7. Put all your Company Information and Continue

  8. Put your all Personal Information and Continue

  9. In Choose Documents- Select Driver's Licience

  10. Select "Get secure Link"

  11. Put your phone number and click Send

Expected Result:

Able to send the one-time link to phone number

Actual Result:

Unable to send the one-time link to phone number

I'll investigate it, I'm just trying to finish something else first

Reading the description looks like a problem of the external tool that does the identity verification.

We have 2 related problems here:

  • Pressing the "Send link" button ends up with an error message in the UI, no message arrives, and we get some errors in the console.
  • The country flags are missing

Both problems seem to come from a miss-configured security policy.

@MitchExpensify @kevinksullivan I wanted to confirm if this is an n6-hold or not. I would think it is polish, a configuration on our side seems to make onfido not work properly.

Yeah let's take this off n6-hold since it is related to the n6 flow.

We updated the "Content Security Policy" header. I did a test and Onfido is working fine on staging now.
