FMT-25.13.9149.34625 building cache issue #44
Comments
Hi. Sorry for taking so long to get back to you and thanks for the video. Are you still having this issue? This seems really odd and not something I've seen (or reported to me) before. I suspect there is something in the files causing this to keep reloading or stuck in a loop and filling it up. Have you tried doing this after a full repair of your game? |
Hello! Yeah. also try it after a complete FC25 repair. On the other hand, today I tried again after updating fc25 to #TU9 and downloading again the same sdk that was giving me the problem. But this time what happened was that a window opened indicating that, when building the cache, it was trying to access the position of some array that was out of range. And the fmt closes. What I have done to solve it was to manually create the new sdk for TU9, copy the dll to the corresponding folder, but from another older version of the sdk. And everything works perfectly. This makes me think that the sdk you uploaded for us to download must have a bad file or something because if I paste the FC25.dll dll for tu9 in the sdk folder it fails, the problem still occurs. Anyway, with the new sdk that I created, everything is fine. So problem solved. I close ticket? Or do you prefer to leave it open to investigate? Regards |
Hi Paul!!
I'm having problems with the latest version of FMT to generate the cache.
13900k CPU
Rtx 4090
64gb DDR5 RAM
Windows 11
The problem is that it never finishes building the cache and starts to consume a lot of RAM. But a lot of RAM... reaching the point of saturating my 64GB of RAM.
I've waited more than 40 minutes to see if it would finish building the cache at some point, but it hasn't finished.
I'm leaving you a video in case you want to see what happens. In the video I don't wait that long so as not to make it longer, but as I said I've left it for more than 40 minutes on some of the several times I've tried to build the cache:
