Mount point /var/virtualization/XX can not be used for further storage integration, because /var/virtualization is itselve a mount point. The concept has to be changed.

Below the mount points for other storage systems as NAS, SAN, etc. needs to have the same structure as in /var/virtualization/vm-persistent/ for example.

Suggestion Wolfgang
/var/virtualization/glusterfs -> default mointpoint for storage nodes
/var/virtulaization/nas1 -> example for NFS
/var/virtulaization/nas2 -> example for NFS
The directory search of new medias have to be made on /var/virtualization/xx, as it is

Migration

• Path have to be in LDAP
• Change fstab
• change mountpoint

Open points

• What with iso and iso-choosable -> working with symb. links

We have to check, if libvirt is able to create multiple directories as for examle
/var/virtulaization/nas1/vm-template/

glusterfs as name must be discussed.
