Dependency Injection abstraction?

I've been looking at the library and I'm missing the reason why those dependency injection abstractions are needed?

• IDependencyConfigurator
• IDependencyResolver
• IDependencyResolverScope

Microsoft's Dependency Injection library is the dotnet abstraction for dependency injection.

Others container have also made their own implementation on it:

• Unity
• Windsor
• Autofac
• Lamar
• Spring
• and more...

So why would it be needed to add another layer and implement the same thing that exists but under another name and with less tooling available?
