Will it be possible using neovim instead of libvim?

Hi, sure that would be possible. I have not looked into the neovim source code and dont know what steps would be
neededed to get the neovim core to work without an event loop.

@FelixKratz you may be interested in https://github.com/glacambre/firenvim, it essentially does what this discussion is asking for only for browsers instead of all fields. There would probably be some useful things to clean from the source code.

also of note is neovim has introduced more remote protocols for allowing more UIs to interact with an nvim core.

Would be very happy to use neovim as well, but mainly to add plugins such as surround (e.g. https://github.com/echasnovski/mini.surround). That being said, I'm not clear on if this would already be possible with SketchyVim? (using https://github.com/tpope/vim-surround) BTW, thanks for all the great work and tools Felix!
