Trying out testufo.com I found that MyPal doesn't auto detect my monitor's refresh rate. Firefox 115 ESR is fine. I have to manually set layout.frame_rate to my monitor's refresh rate to get it to recognize it.

First it is wrong to compare it with Firefox 115.
Next you are to take x64 version of the mypal and to enable webrender to get something like, and win7+ of course.
While on х86 the webrender is cut off for the RAM saving and nonworking on xp

It's the only browser I had open.

115 also has webrender disabled because of funny GPU bug in every browser that I've ever tested.

Anyway did you check both on the same system and with the same settings?
