Difference in scroll wheel action #532
Comments
sorry i had bookmarks window open. It works when the bookmark window is closed. |
The old one works with the bookmarks sidebar on the screen. |
It works fine also in Mypal 68.13.0. In newer versions I've encountered similar scroll wheel/mouse focus problem on several other sites, too. Difference in sidebar/no sidebar in Brave's example is probably due to responsive design, I get the same outcome by resizing my browser window. |
I do not reproduce this and on the brave and others as well. |
On my system, when bookmarks sidebar is opened and Brave page contains search results, mouse scroll works only when mouse pointer is over page header (where the search input field is), and does not work when pointer is over the rest of page. |
Still I do not reproduce no matter the mouse pointe |
I run XP 32bit sp3.
example web page
https://search.brave.com/search?q=%22user+was+wearing+a+magnetic+braclet%22
In Mypal V68.14.4b (32bit)
My mouse wheel does not scroll the page (unless the cursor is located on the scroll bar)
In Mypal V29.3.0 (32bit)
My mouse wheel does scroll the page (regardless of where the cursor is on the screen)
(just more user friendly)
