This happens every time I connect to a workspace and choose to overwrite remote files. It seems to successfully overwrite some files before being disconnected with this message, so you can eventually work through it by reconnecting a billion times.

You might want to try using floomatic to sync your workspace. This plugin appears unusable in its current form without one or more users running that in the background.

Is there any other methods to solve this issue?

Not that I found. I ended up dealing with the jank until the pair programming I was doing with a new hire for onboarding purposes was accomplished to the extent that we could switch to another ecosystem and use collaborative editing solutions that actually work (by virtue of finishing the tasks we'd set out to do with IntelliJ).

Still, it's hard to complain too much with free open-source software, so I suppose the alternative is that one of us takes up the torch of maintaining this, which I am... admittedly not at all eager to do.
