The name the application appears under in the applications menu and store is the same as the package name. Many applications, however, choose to make the final applications appear under a different name than the original package, to make the application have a more user-friendly name. This is especially true in the GNOME environment. How about doing the same for this application?
Some examples could be: "Adwaita Steam Installer", "Adwaita Steam Skin", "Adwaita Steam Theme", "Adwaita for Steam", "Adwaita Steam Settings", "Adwaita Steam Configuration", "GNOME Steam Integration" (probably the best), "GNOME Steam Theme", "Steam Interface Settings" (very nice), etc.

I suppose a new name would be more in line with Gnome's guidelines.
On the other hand, I am not exactly that heartbroken about having deviated here.
Gnome names are nice presentation wise, but (imo) are terrible to lookup since they're so generic.
Not the biggest fan of having different package and end user presented names either.
Current name is very slapdash, admittedly.
But it'd be low priority for me to change, considering the name is already unique and much easier to find than typing "Add Water" into a search engine.
I agree about the GNOME app names being generic (it's a side effect of them being existing words), but searching the current name is only easier if you already know it. Otherwise you'll have to use "Adwaita", "Steam", "GTK" and/or "theme" to find it, which would also work as auxiliary terms to search for a more generic name.
The current name cites the technologies involved, but is not very memorable, despite being unique. It is descriptive in a cryptic way.
I respect if you prefer it this way, since it is not a bad name, but if you want, I can write a list of suggested names so you can give me some feedback on them, and we can keep refining the options until we find a name that fits both the bill and your taste 😃
