You could even add some workflows:

In Adobe Illustrator one can export artboards as individual svg files. Which means one would have a single EPS or AI with all glyphs on separate artboards and export all of them into single svg.

1. Open Illustrator (this one is obvious)
2. Create a new document (OBVIOUS)
3. Add a single glyph to the artboard
4. Create new artboards with the artboard panel
5. Create glyphs on these artboards. One artboard, one glyph
6. Name each artboard according to the name of the glyph/filename
7. Save the file as SVG and tick "use artboards"
8. You will now have each artboard separated in a svg.

Also would be great to include "template" files for Illustrator, other tools with recommended sizes/settings for SVG creation.

I am currently using this to output a icon font to be used in 100's of apps and I am willing to spend the time to make these pixel perfect at small sizes, If you could provide some insight (or link to a guide on the website) into creating pixel perfect icons at small sizes.

I am currently playing around with using grids and guides, but kinda shooting in the dark with how to make sure they are pixel perfect at a desired or a set of desired sizes.

FWIW, the font metrics in fontcustom are set up for 512pt square, with 448pt ascent and 64pt descent. So if you set up each icon in an artboard that's 512pt square, with a grid line running horizontally 64pt from the bottom, you should get the right output.
