I am on Fedoda KDE 41. I verified that I had Libertinus fonts installed. Although they were installed in "/usr/share/texlive/", they had a shortcut on "/usr/share/fonts/". However, Font Manager would not see any of these shortcuts. I had to manually add them so they could be visible.

Since you ignored the issue template, we don't know what version or how you installed Font Manager.

I can't repro on Fedora 41. Font Manager from COPR picks up symlinks just fine. I don't have any other copies of Libertinus from other sources.

$ dnf list --installed font-manager '*libertinus*'
Installed packages
font-manager.x86_64             0.9.1.20240807-1    copr:copr.fedorainfracloud.org:jerrycasiano:FontManag
texlive-libertinus-fonts.noarch 11:svn57948-73.fc41 fedora
$ ls -l /usr/share/fonts | grep libertinus
lrwxrwxrwx. 1 root root    60 Jul 20 08:00 libertinus-fonts -> ../texlive/texmf-dist/fonts/opentype/public/libertinus-fonts

Screenshot showing the various Libertinus fonts from texlive-libertinus-fonts package. At the bottom is the path opened when I right-click any of the Libertinus fonts and click Show in Folder.

I'm closing this out as not only can we not duplicate it but even if we could it would either be an issue with Fontconfig or the system configuration.
