Steps to reproduce the bug

After installing the app, I attempted to configure the directories via the settings. I added the /storage/emulated/0 directory to the exclusion list and then added a hidden sub-directory within /storage/emulated/0 to the inclusion list. However, when I returned to the homepage, an error message quickly appeared: "An error occurred in Gallery. Close this app now?". If I click "OK", the app exits; if I click "Cancel", the app continues to run normally.

Expected behavior

The app should handle the inclusion and exclusion of directories without causing critical errors or unexpected exits.

Actual behavior

An error message appears prompting to close the app. The app exits if "OK" is clicked, and continues to run if "Cancel" is clicked.

Is this hidden subdirectory created by you? If not, can you share its exact name?

I created it. It contains many .jpg files, and renaming this hidden directory also reproduces the problem.

By hidden subdirectory, do you mean that this directory is not visible only in Gallery? Or is it hidden globally, and it contains .nomedia file or its name starts with .?
