Affected app version

1.0.0

Affected Android/Custom ROM version

Android 13

Affected device model

Fairphone 3+

How did you install the app?

Google Play Store

Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. Choose Fossify Keyboard as the default keyboard app.
  2. Open the Fossify Keyboard app.
  3. Tap the third text area/line (for entering an e-mail-address).
  4. The keyboard appears. Look at the keyboard. (I call this the first "page" of the keyboard.)

Expected behavior

There should be an @-key on the first page. I have tried the same steps with another keyboard app ("OpenBoard"). That app shows an @-key on the first page.

Actual behavior

There is no @-key on the first page. It seems to be the "normal" text-keyboard. The @-key is still there on another page (after tapping the "?123"-key).

Screenshots/Screen recordings

No response

Additional information

  • The keyboard for numbers (that can be tested in the Fossify Keyboard app in the second line) (android:inputType="phone"?!) works correctly.
  • The keyboard for passwords (that can be tested in the Fossify Keyboard app in the fourth line) (= normal text, but only the last letter is shown. All other letters are replaced by dots.) works correctly.
