This issue is really annoying and definitely needs to be resolved after all this time. Probably more mobile logins for the wiki. MediaWiki has prepared a very nice manual for this.
The first way is to set Timeless as the default skin. This skin is a bit strange and a matter of preference.
The second and officially used method is to install the MobileFrontend extension and set the Minerva Neue skin. This is the method used by Wikipedia.
These skins come pre-installed and the plugin is developed by wikimedia itself. @kkremitzki

ATM the freecad wiki is not mobile friendly as described in https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=32277&start=20#p270798
