Guidelines

  • I have searched the documentation for information that matches the description of the feature request I want to file, without success.
  • This issue contains only one feature request.

Problem Description

Adding support for external media players. (Clapper specifically)

Proposed Solution

Adding Clapper as another choice for external media player would allow more flexibility in using this application.

Alternatives Considered

For alternatives, i suppose the only other real alternative to this is adding support for a different media player.

Issue Labels

improvement to existing feature, new optional setting, support for external software

Additional Information

I find the choices for external media player to be kind of lacking when using this application on linux, a lot of the choices have older UI (like SMPlayer and VLC), i think adding a more "modern" style player as a choice wouldnt be a bad idea for those who prefer using this as an optional choice, and in general would only increase flexibility in using this application the way the end user wants to.
