Now that datasets are being automatically generated (see http://server.themanaworld.org/logs/ ), it would be nice to have a nicer way to select available datasets.
There is currently a shortcut to simply load the latest dataset, but it would be nice to have more. Perhaps a bar chart showing summary information per-day?
With the upcoming release of dc.js supporting multiple selections, perhaps a focusable bar chart on the loading screen allowing people to select the range of dates they want to see would help.
Loading many datasets will be very slow, so some sort of warning would need to be put in place if someone attempts to load more than, say, 3-5 datasets.
This will be a non-trivial task, especially if we want to give people a summary indication of daily activity.
