The protocol supports setting/changing values of the burner, by sending specific packages to the burner.

To implement this, would require getting a hold of the protocol specification of the creator of the burner software, to ensure the correct creation of the functionality, and minimize the risk of bricking the burner (or even worse breaking the burner), by setting unsafe or wrong values.

Having access to a testserver containing the burner software would also help.
