Wenn die Verbindung zu einem Nachbarn abreißt, verschwindet dieser aus dem Nachbar-Plot. Das ist bei der Fehlersuche wenig hilfreich.

Die Frage ist, wie man sinnvoll auswählt, welche alten Nachbarn sichtbar sein sollten ...

Feature testweise aktiviert und unter Beobachtung. Man sollte etwas bauen, womit man ein-/ausschalten kann.
