Our E2E tests have a lot of duplicated logic; we should condense and optimize them in order to speed up CI time and dev feedback loops.

Minor thing I recently noticed but maybe the HTTP client http_client and the DB connectionconn can be bundled into setup_*_test_components? They're used very similarly to the other components and would save us a few lines 🙆🏽‍♂️
