There are already mods that cull entities to prevent them from showing when they're not in your view distance, but for entities in your view distance I thought maybe it might be possible to cull there inside faces. More specifically, the sheep renders all the inside faces from it's sheered body, as in the picture below. I thought maybe it might be possible to avoid rendering these faces until the sheep is sheered. Hope this idea is helpful!
