Description
The Windows mouse loading wheel icon will spin for a bit when I press play but then the process just dies, never opening a Minecraft window.

To Reproduce
At least assuming you are using the Overwolf/Curseforge launcher:

  1. download version 1.4.112 of Carpet into an empty modpack.
  2. Go to the Modrinth website and manually download and install version 1.17.0 of Carpet Fixes into the mods folder.
  3. Press Play on the modpack and see that nothing happens.
  4. Remove 1.17.0 of Carpet Fixes and swap it out for version 1.16.1.
  5. Press play and see that it works just fine.

Minecraft Version:

  • 1.20.1 Full Release
    Fabric Modloader Version
  • 0.15.11
    Carpet-Fixes Version:
  • 1.17.0 (1.20–1.20.4)
    Carpet Version:
  • 1.4.112 (1.20–1.20.1)

Additional context
I was using the Overwolf/Curseforge launcher since the Modrinth launcher doesn't let me log in with my Minecraft account for some reason. I assume that shouldn't make a difference though and that the problem is that a wrong Minecraft version description was put with the file download, especially considering how downgrading Carpet Fixes made things start working.

I should mention that this doesn't produce an actual crash report file, so the latest log file is the best I can offer you.
