Galliumos 3.1 Dell chromebook 13 ( LULU) touchpad issue

Synaptics touchpad only works for a few minutes before it lags to the point where it freezes for about 30 seconds at a time.

Hardware:

Dell Chromebook 13 (7310)
CPU: broadwell
BIOS Firmware: tianocore UEFI(Full Firmware)

 Galliumos 3.1

I don't have freezing issues that you describe, but I find the tracking a bit flaky.

Here are some additional settings I use on my LULU (GalliumOS 3.1, firmware MrChromebox 02/04/2018):

The solution in #539 fixed the issue for my Dell 7310 running GalliumOS 3.1 using 40-touchpad-cmt.conf and 50-touchpad-cmt-lulu.conf from https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromiumos/platform/xorg-conf/+/refs/heads/release-R100-14526.B
