User story

As a member, I want to have a simplified membership structure so that Geek.Zone membership is easier to understand.

Current State

• Sand membership
  • £1 per year
  • £30 suggested donation per year
  • access to GZ events
• Space membership - upgrade
  • £1 per month
  • £30 suggested donation per month
  • access to GZ spaces

Requirement: What we need

Consolidate both types of membership.

• £1 per year - (makes you "officially a GZ member") with £30 per month suggested donation
  • prefill the donation box with "£30"
  • allow the user to change the amount in the donation box
  • as with all payments, take the appropriate total from the direct debit each month.

  • access to GZ events and spaces
  • easier for members to expect that items can be added to their "tab".
