I have gone through these following points

Issue Description

When I upgraded my react-native-web from 0.11.7 to 0.12.2, I found there is an error on my chrome console. And check with the release note of react-native-web, it says the ViewPropTypes is removed after 0.12.0.

In order to solve this problem, you can add a normal-module-replacement-plugin in which you target the modules having this problem.

new webpack.NormalModuleReplacementPlugin(
     /..\/native-base.*utils\/index\.js/,
    function(resource) {
      const resolutionModule = path.resolve(
          __dirname,
          './config/view.props.js'
        );

      resource.request = resolutionModule;
      resource.userRequest = resolutionModule;
      resource.resource = resolutionModule;
  }
)

This solved my problem. There is any prediction of when you guys are going to drop the PropTypes?

hi @ricardoribas, i've pasted your code in webpack.config.js at the end of plugin array but doesn't work. i've missed something? i don't know so much about webpack

@ricardoribas
Copy link

@piccinnigius the main webpack object has a plugins property. It should be an array. Is just a matter of adding it to the end. If you are using javascript to make the configuration dynamically, you can just access the config.plugins and append it.

@ricardoribas i've done but doesn't work...
