In regards to the in-game buttons that "slide out" when you hover over them (such as "settings," "change log," and "report bug") that are on the right hand side of the screen on the main menu and whenever you can see your options, you can click in the area they would slide into to access that button's target without first expanding the button.
The issue itself is minor, but it causes some annoying and somewhat confusing misclicks since the form is misleading according to function.
Steps to reproduce (important):
Place mouse directly left of any of the sliding buttons without expanding the button. Any part of the region that the button would occupy if it were expanded will do.
Left-Click
Menu opens. This is the bug.
What happens:
Menu opens when clicking button space with the button collapsed.
What you expected to happen:
Menu to not open when button is collapsed, only when button is expanded.
Affected Versions (Do not use "latest"):
MPUtils Mods: [Util: 1.5.7], [Basic 1.4.11]
Minecraft: 1.12.2
Forge: 14.23.5.2847
