Genesis-World is a fantastic project that has helped me solve many problems, and I would like to express my sincere respect for the efforts of the authors.
I am a Game Motion Tech Artist, and I have a sequence of character Mesh Alembic animations. I want to dress my character in Genesis and perform cloth simulation to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of Genesis. I have encountered two issues:

  1. Is Alembic animation currently supported? Will it be considered for support in the future? If it is not supported, I would like to find a way to modify the Mesh vertex positions in Genesis, and I will submit a Commit Request once I implement it.
  2. I couldn't find any part related to the skeleton skinning algorithm in Genesis. If skeleton skinning is available, it could also solve my problem. When is skeleton skinning expected to be supported?

Thank you for your help! Best regards.

We had some methods to do this in the internal version, but we haven't unified this for the rasterizer and raytracer renderer... We will also add skinning :)

but currently we are a bit short of manpower... thank you for your patience, will try our best
