Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
With Time Series data it seems like the map and data is more responsive when the animation is paused. For example when first loading a map with a time series layer for just a single datetime, when zooming and panning the map it seems slow and lagging, I also notice a multiple requests in the network tab with each zoom and pan for that one layer each being > 3 seconds. But if I start an animation and then Pause it, the data remains the same but panning and zooming the map is much more responsive, I also saw very few requests for that layer in the network tab each being < 100ms.

Describe the solution you'd like
Have a map speed and requests behave like the time series animation is paused.

Describe alternatives you've considered
I have tried all different timeseries combinations of settings in both geoserver and geonode, and with multiple different layers and styles
