I also got it to say 420 USD is 1.4 something ETH... not sure how, and never got a screen shot

After some tests I agree that the direct and reverse rate are not identical. I let CryptoCompare do most of the work not messing with the rates so it's the API that computes each rate in different instances. Is is possible that on direct / reverse rates the data sources are slightly different. The differences are recorded are of around ~0.2% @GriffGreen if you believe that is a serious issue I can request the direct rates only and compute the inverse myself.
