A pilot may turn their logger on well before they start flying and turn it off well afterwards.

Some loggers appear to log stale positions until they get a GPS fix.

A pilot landing out and leaving their logger turned on may complete the course by car.

What rule or heuristic should be used here to determine which section of the track log is the flying section?
