Lighthouse requires that an element with role "combobox" contain a text input and a list of options, so the role would be in a wrapper that contains everything. MDN disagrees (see context link) and says that the combobox role belongs in the input element. I'm a bit confused and the documentation around this is poor. For extra context, I'm implementing a search bar with search suggestions.
So either MDN is wrong, or Lighthouse needs to allow more flexibility here, but I can't figure out which one is correct.
