I think the profile relates directly to each clock. 444mhz runs alot better than 500mhz, are the profiles specific to each clock? anyone know? |
UPDATED LINK WITH NEW VERSION changes:
only tested in blood money carrier mission. Changing trophy init thread from 3rd to 2nd core might lead to an improvement, maybe not. just thought that if you know a way to improve the profile feel free to post any efforts here because I dont have a clue about this but it feels really intuitive and really really effective for improving FPS and it'd be good for anyone else reading to know what I'm thinking in case they want to pick it up. hope you enjoy the profile and I'll try make a proper video of this one |
Your download link is not working. Please post profile and your findings in the forum thread for the Thread Optimizer. |
@GrapheneCt I've tested the link and it seems to be working fine, anyone else having nproblems with the link? |
@GrapheneCt sorry, What forum is it? EDIT: Found the forum post, thanks Graphene |
Your link prompts anyone who isn't you with access request message, you need to open file to the public. Forum link is https://forum.devchroma.nl/index.php/topic,210.0.html |
@GrapheneCt changed the link, google drive defaults to 'restricted' under link options, tested on my phone without being signed in and it was all good, should work now |
Works now. I have posted your videos on the forum page for TO. |
no bother, thanks man |
UPDATE: Added High performance Profiles |
NOTE: THIS ONLY FOR THE US VERSION - PCSF00243. I dont take any responsibility for any damage caused by using this profile.
!!!!!!!!UPDATE 4TH JULY 2020, HIGH PERFORMANCE PROFILES!!!!!!!
HP PROFILES DOWNLOAD LINK: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Ai5MWHaeJ-isAOU_-piy6LnoGdvl9zj_/view?usp=sharing
I've made 2 profiles that are balanced towards 2 different bias. One plays like a full console experience, thats the only way to describe it and the other is balanced towards combat and low latency input, a twitch shooter essentially.
The trade off for ultra quick combat is very slight loading slowdowns but they are really minimal. Definitely a profile for the twitch shooters

I've updated the link to a faster profile than in the video:

INSTRUCTIONS:
copy the file into the ux0:/data/threadoptimizer folder and play.
NOTE: One thing you have to do after copying it to the threadoptimizer folder is open thread optimizer. I missed that out and got different FPS. after opening thread optimizer all was good.
AND ANOTHER THING: disabling the 3rd core on Trophy System Init Thread on this profile gives a major FPS boost but strange loading slowdowns in big battles, if anyone can find a workaround or just want to see what plays like, I'm good with both
I have tested these settings in one of the heaviest battles of the game. temps didnt go over stock and CPU utilisation was reduced - possibly uses less battery. it uses the fourth core alot more in heavy loads and there were zero glitches or crashes in over 100 playthroughs of the carrier level.
Vitagrafix is set to full native resolution, sharpscale is set to integer/point/unlock framebuffer and VSMshell I think? for the cpu stats and overclocking, enso 3.65, oled vita
the videos are pretty naff but both show that the game is pretty GPU bound. its only in the heaviest situations that 444mhz goes above 92-93%. 500mhz gives barely an increase, 2 fps at most
