Currently, we don't have the API to show the country of the location, like for a tree and planter.
We need build a API to get the country (it would be better if we can also get the city or province in the country like the picture shows) by giving the coordinates(lat/lon)

Some hints:

  • Please read our readme for more information/guide/tutorial.
  • Here is an engineering book in Greenstand.

Some thoughts:

  • This API should be provided by https://github.com/Greenstand/treetracker-web-map-api , so please folk that repo, and also, we can find some database(PostgreSQL) details in that repo.
  • Check the region table, there might be some useful stuff to support this API, like some district geography info by which we might be able to locate the lat/lon.

some finding: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/6159074/given-the-lat-long-coordinates-how-can-we-find-out-the-city-country

But I still think we already got enough data in our PostgreSQL
