Often people ask how old the Society is, or how it started. While there have been several attempts at documenting this, ultimately it becomes a burden to maintain.

One of the best chances of enduring this information is to include it in the website. A brief history of HackSoc could be compiled into a History page (linked from About). Due to the public nature of the site, it would not be appropriate to include personal names in the history.

@J0EKW has started gathering this information in Discord.
