At least this feature is working properly in February 2024

Hi, I would like to ask when the new release is expected to be released? Thanks

@Steve-Li-1998 I will publish a stable release in a few weeks, but you can already install a pre-release version from https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/9473-texify-idea/versions/alpha

When copying tables from Excel to TeXify, I noticed that the conversion results in a loss of table styles. This includes, but is not limited to, the alignment of the data, the style of the borders, and so on. I remember that previous versions of TeXify included those features. Is there a problem with the current version?

I don't know, do you have an example?

I think I'm misremembering. If possible, could you tell me some details (like which files are responsible for parsing the HTML and generating the tables) to make me consider whether some new features are feasible?

Of course! Most of the interesting things happen in here: https://github.com/Hannah-Sten/TeXiFy-IDEA/tree/master/src/nl/hannahsten/texifyidea/editor/pasteproviders

In particular, you can see that we provide the option to use pandoc if available, or a very simplistic built-in translator, which does handle tables, images and styled text, but which will be much worse than pandoc in general.
Many people do not have pandoc installed, so improvements to the built-in translator are very welcome.
