QS to set default instrument for minimal view?

The minimal view (?output=minimal) opens by default in the "flares and active regions" option. Is it possible to change that from the URL query string, so that for instance it could load with the sunspots view (this is a very specific use case for the PBS NOVA Sun Lab - in the regular helioviewer we set it through the imageLayer parameter).
