One feature xfce4-terminal has which I really like is if I paste multiple lines of text I get a warning, and the opportunity to change what I've pasted.
One thing I don't like about it is it uses a UI element for a text area. If I'm working in the terminal, I'd much rather it open another terminal using my configured $EDITOR. This should be a configurable though, as I think different people with have a preference for either. The scope of this issue is to implement either of these two (GUI input or $EDITOR), or just display the warning with an abort action.
