Flatpak support? (looking for maintainers) #180
Comments
Is there any news on this? I find installing RaySession to be very annoying - I've done it three times(over the last few years), and in my latest Linux install I waited literally months before attempting to do it, because it's just so clunky with all the various python packages - especially now with the fork of liblo that's not a part of package managers (at least not OpenSuse Tumbleweed). In fact, I didn't actually succeed at installing it when I tried to do it just now - I've practically stopped installing apps on Linux that doesn't support Flatpak because of this (Haven't installed any in months, and I now got a reminder as to why..), so would be very nice to have RaySession installable through it! I realize this is pure skill-issue, but I don't feel like Python proficiency should be a prerequisite for running something like this. |
Hi @KennethHoff |
@Houston4444 any news? |
Hi. |
Perhaps updating the title to Flatpak/Snap support (Looking for maintainers) |
Would be neat to have Flatpak and Snap support!
