Validator website never prints status for XML files that cause the backend API to time out #557

Brief Description
The validator API (code in js-validator-api) sometimes times out for large or complex files; and for some files it returns an error.

The Validator website does not handle these errors well. It doesn't return an error, but just says it is processing the file indefinitely.
